The Pupil Premium Grant (PPG) is given to schools so they can help every pupil reach their full potential.

PPG was introduced in April 2011 to help schools narrow the attainment gap between pupils from low-income and other disadvantaged backgrounds and their peers.

Pupils are eligible for the PPG if they:

  • Are from a low-income family and receive free school meals (at any time over the last six years)
  • Are looked after by the local authority
  • Have a parent in the armed forces.

We also receive catch-up funding to help us counter the effects of the pandemic on children’s learning.
